WinBridge Founder: An Inspiring Story

 

 

Back in 1996, I was in high school, I remember my teacher told us that you could find a good and decent job if you could speak and understand English. Since then, I was very eager to learn the language. I believe it is the key to open huge opportunities the world could offer.

I grew up in a small town where no one could speak English. When I reached college, I’m fully committed to choose English as my college major. Even though my university is not prestigious, I’m very eager and have high hopes. With a determined spirit, I wanted to contribute a huge impact to our community and people. That led me to establish an English Association in our University. It was the first association ever created for a group of people who are willing to learn and speak the English language.

As the Chairman of the English Association, I organized different exciting activities for them while learning how to be fluent in English. With the help of my great partner, Sherly, we were teaching our associated members on how to read, understand and speak English for free whether in the classroom, in the park, or beside the river.

We didn’t expect that our members would double its number. From 10, we were able to reach around 200 members in our group. Despite the improvements we’re making, it was not an easy road for us. Teaching everyday could be very tiring. I could feel that  my throat aches and hurts a lot as day passed by because I need to exert a lot of effort to  speak loudly when accommodating all my members’ questions. I got severe sore throat. My vocal health suffered because of too much talking. I strained my vocal cords and each day I find it hard to recover.

Our university and community don’t have enough money to provide us with teaching aids that would really help in our journey. Nevertheless, I still continued teaching and made sure to stay hydrated. I also started taking some medication to heal my sore throat.

After I graduated, my only desire and goal is to not stop helping Chinese students learn the English language. Knowing it’s very impossible to continue our journey without financial support I decided to do three jobs at the same time so I can support our community.

It was in the middle of the night, I’m about to rest and suddenly an amazing idea popped up into my mind. “What if I start to build voice amplifier that can surely help teachers, not just me to  speak comfortably without hurting their throats.” From that day, I never stop planning how I could make this business work. Until, my first ever company WinWin Technology, inc. was born.

 

About WinBridge

In 2014, we started designing our own voice amplifier models. In 2015, WinBridge was registered in China, expanded in the US, and EU. At the same time, our first shop on Amazon was established. We sold thousands of voice amplifiers and compact PA systems. As years passed by, our sales grow and turned into millions. The rest is history. We’re very happy that our clients reach has grown massively, and we are now selling globally, including in Asia and other countries.

WinBridge is a company brand that aims to connect teachers and students. Our voice amplifiers became the bridge to making a connection to each classroom while protecting the throats of teachers or speakers while speaking. Win-Win is our business spirit. We believe that if our teachers have a healthy vocal system, they will not put their health at risk while teaching, and their students will appreciate and love them more!

WinBridge focuses on two major things:

1. Teacher's vocal health.

 “Education breeds confidence. Confidence breeds hope. Hope breeds peace.” —Confucius. We care on every teachers and their vocal health.

2. Better inheritance of knowledge

Human history of thousands of years, natural knowledge and human knowledge are very rich. The inheritance of human cultural knowledge starts on school education where teachers have a huge part imparting knowledge to students.
